Also. If you’re fitting a replacement roof, check the drip rail and the body mounts on your truck while the old one is off. That’s where the water got in, and if you don’t sort it the new roof will leak in the same place.
Fitting is a two person job. The roof is light but wide and awkward to lift, and you don’t want to drop it on fresh paint. Line it up before you tighten anything down.
